Nebels Rainbow Plumeria
Plumeria rubra hybrid — Sweet, fruity fragrance
IntermediateApril – November
If you have ever searched for a rainbow plumeria, Nebels Rainbow is usually the flower in the photo: pink and red edges bleed through orange into a bright yellow center, on blooms noticeably larger than most rubra hybrids. The colors deepen with sun and summer heat — the same tree can look pastel in May and fully saturated in August. The fragrance is sweet with a fruity edge. Nebels branches vigorously and carries big clusters, but its cuttings ask for more warmth to root than an easy variety like Celadine: give them bottom heat or wait for genuinely hot weather, and expect the slower end of the normal rooting window.
